Great interest in our modern environmentally friendly soluitons

Kæling Víkurafl is currently working on Áskell ÞH-048, where a Hydra cooling system is being installed. Hydra is a versatile and energy-efficient solution designed to integrate with existing systems and make them more environmentally sound. Up to 90% of older, high-impact refrigerants are replaced, and energy savings of up to 30% can be achieved. In most cases, the upgrade pays for itself within a short time.

In the accompanying photo, several vessels we have worked on can be seen — among them Ársæll, Pálína Þórunn GK-049, and in the background Birtingur NK-119, where a Hydra system was installed earlier this spring. Also shown is Jóhanna Gísladóttir ÁR-206, which recently came in for landing. Kæling Víkurafl provides regular service for that vessel as well.

Our work continues across the fleet, with a focus on reliability, energy efficiency and long-term performance at sea.
